Homelessness in Fresno, Madera counties

Estimates of the homeless population, both unsheltered and sheltered, in Fresno and Madera counties since 2007, based on Point-in-Time surveys conducted by the Fresno-Madera Continuum of Care and reported to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.

* In 2012 and 2021, data on unsheltered was carried over from the previous year's Point-in-Time Survey. In 2021, no Point-in-Time survey was conducted because of the COVID-19 pandemic. A Point-in-Time survey was not conducted in 2024 in Fresno and Madera counties.
