Proposition 115 would prohibit abortions in Colorado after 22 weeks of gestation, with an exception for cases in which an abortion is “immediately required” to save the life of the mother. Doctors who perform abortions after 22 weeks would be subject to a criminal penalty and have their medical license suspended for at least three years.
