These 28 offenses account for 75% of all bed-days since 2018. One bed-day is equal to one person in jail for one day. Many bookings have multiple charges for different offenses. This chart only shows the most serious charge for each booking. When there was a tie (a booking had more than one charge with the same severity) we used the offense that was listed first.
