Tropical Storm Chantal aftermath
When Tropical Storm Chantal hit Central North Carolina on July 6, it overwhelmed University Lake Dam. Dozens of people had to be rescued from the Weatherhill Pointe neighborhood 2 miles east. Many remain displaced.
