Queensland recorded 17,065 cases this year and 17,471 last year. Victoria had doubled the cases this year at 14,933 over 7,323 cases last year. South Australia has 3,926 in 2023 and 539 last year. Western Australia recorded 2,187 cases this year and 1,519 cases in 2022. ACT has 1,130 cases this year compared to 550 the same period last year. Tasmania recorded 670 cases this year but only had 11 cases last year. Northern Territory has the least number of cases with 164 in 2023 and 88 cases last year.
