Omaha Fails to Reach Many Environmental Goals

In 2010 the City of Omaha passed the Environment Element which laid out 31 goals for the city to reach by the years 2020 and 2030. As of 2022 the city is either off track or failed to meet 17 of them. It met 3 of them and The Reader was unable to measure success on another 11.
