Minnesota budget growth by spending area

The budget agreement announced by Democratic leaders in March would increase spending in the next state budget by roughly $20 billion. More than $3 billion of that is one-time money to cover the cost of tax rebates, infrastructure projects and start up costs for a universal paid leave program.
