Planned capacity [GW] is shifting toward a clean energy future

Since the IRA was passed in Aug 2022, utilities have revised resource plans to add 67 GW more wind and solar capacity and accelerate retirement of 9 GW of coal; but also increase gas capacity by 13 GW by 2035.
