Number of people with Temporary Protected Status by state

A map of the United States documents the number of people with temporary protected status by state. Florida had the most as of September 2024 with 357,895 people. Texas had 124, 710, New York had 86,665 and California had 72,585 people.

Figures are accurate as of September 2024. The data documented 2,780 people with TPS status in the U.S. Virgin Islands and 710 people in Puerto Rico. State of residence could not be determined for 2,330 individuals.
