To provide a sense of scale between different communities, the map compares the number of residents in permanent housing programs funded by HUD's CoC Program to the Point-in-Time (PIT) Counts of homelessness. The PIT Counts do not include permanent housing residents in their totals, however, because they are no longer experiencing homelessness.

The information presented for each CoC is an approximation based on available data, and the true number of CoC-funded housing program residents is likely greater than the data show. CoCs in light grey either have missing information or do not receive sufficient CoC Program funding to contribute to permanent housing.
