Ohio Gambling Survey, 2016-17

This pie chart shows the results of a survey of more than 24,000 Ohioans conducted in 2016-17. Respondents were asked about their gambling habits and the results were scored on a problem gambling index. Percentages are in parenthesis. Explanations of categories are under the chart.

Low Risk: "This group does not adverse consequences from gambling, but may benefit from prevention education and awareness of problem gambling signs and symptoms." Moderate Risk: "This group may experience adverse consequences from gambling." Problem: "These individuals ... meet diagnostic criteria for gambling disorder. This group generally exhibits loss of control and distortions in thinking regarding gambling behaviors."
