The data for European immigrants aged between 25 and 59 as a whole show figures that are slightly lower than those observed for the native-born population. It is worth noting that, in terms of the employment rate, 33 per cent of European immigrants are outside the 25–59 age bracket and are therefore considered to be outside the labour market. Particularly noteworthy here is the high level of labour force participation among EU nationals from wealthy countries: the French, Italians, British, Germans, Belgians… In contrast to their high educational attainment, the low labour market integration of non-EU PBR immigrants is striking.
