NOTE: In order to calculate the percentage of population with employer sponsored insurance enrolled in the state employee health plan, we used the enrollment numbers (both individuals and dependents) provided by respondent states in our survey and used Kaiser Family Foundation's State Health Facts for 2022 to find the total number of people in each state enrolled in employer-sponsored insurance.
All the information presented in these maps was submitted in response to our survey between October 17, 2022 and December 16, 2022 by representatives of state agencies administering state employee health plans. We did not receive a survey response from New Jersey.
