Thirteen percent of Democrats have a great deal or quite a lot of confidence in the Supreme Court, down from 30% in 2021 and the recent high of 42% in 2016. Twenty-five percent of independents have a great deal of confidence in the Supreme Court, down from 40% in 2020, which was the recent high for this group. Thirty-nine percent of Republicans have confidence in the Supreme Court, unchanged from a year ago but down from the recent high of 53% in 2020.
