Hawaii Green Card Applications for Permanent Residency

The Hawaii field office of U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services received nearly 2,000 applications for legal permanent residency since January 2018. New rules that take effect Oct. 15 could disqualify legal immigrants who are recipients of Medicaid or other public benefits from obtaining green cards, which permit legal permanent residency.
