Source: Auto plant locations and employment data are extracted from Honda and Toyota websites in February 2025. Estimates of the labor force, number of employed workers, number of unemployed workers, and the unemployment rate are provided by the US Bureau of Labor Statistics and are measured as 2023 annual averages.

Notes: The Toyota Battery Manufacturing plant in North Carolina is scheduled to come online in 2025.
