Silver Bulletin economic index

Z-scores for the six economic indicators used in our 2024 presidential election forecast and how they are projected to change. A score of zero indicates an average economy, positive values are better than average, and negative values are worse than average

Note: All variables are standardized so that they have roughly the same mean and standard deviation. The economic index is based on readings of these six variables in the two years leading up to the election, with a heavier weight placed on more recent data.
