Spending and Revenue Increases in Biden’s Budget

President Joe Biden's proposed budget calls for an 8% increase in spending in fiscal 2024, with federal outlays surpassing $10 trillion by 2033. Because of similar proposed increases in revenue, the budget deficit would shrink from 6.8% of gross domestic product in 2024 to 5.1% in 2033.
