Workforce participation rate of international student visa holders according to the 2016 census

Table shows the number of current student visa holders by the top ten countres and the workforce participation rate using data from the 2016 census. China has the most students and 20.6% participate in the workforce. The average for all students is 51.8% workforce participation.

Workforce participation rate derived from ABS 2016 census data. Calculations of the workforce participation rate includes those in the labour force and not in the labour force, and excludes the categories "Not Applicable" and "Overseas Visitor".
