Where did effort to recall Gavin Newsom get its signatures?

The level of support for putting the recall of Gov. Gavin Newsom on the ballot varied greatly by region. People living in the Sierra foothills and far Northern California were most likely to sign recall petitions. Fewer signatures were collected, per capita, in urban and coastal areas.
