Russia occupies nearly 90 per cent of the Donbas

Russia occupies around 20 per cent of Ukraine, including nearly 90 per cent of the Donbas, which consists of the Donetsk and Luhansk regions. US president Donald Trump has called for Kyiv and Moscow to "cut up right now" before they "negotiate something later on down the line".
