Requests for Language Assistance

Over the last three fiscal years, police and 911 operators have made nearly 41,000 requests for assistance in interpreting Spanish, a total that is more than three times higher than all other languages combined. More than 60% of requests from the Department of Licenses and Inspections were also for Spanish. Most requested languages for interpretation assistance from July 1, 2021, to June 30, 2024:
