Note: EPA uses actual FTE figures through fiscal 2016; FTE ceilings or targets are used for later years “to better reflect long-term FTE allocations.” 2025 workforce data represents the number of actual FTE employees recorded for the first fiscal quarter (Oct. 1-Dec. 31, 2024) per a report obtained through the Freedom of Information Act.
