The need for an integrity commission

Q: All states in Australia have independent anti-corruption bodies that have powers to investigate cases of suspected corruption and misconduct in politics and government. There is currently legislation being considered by parliament to set-up such a body –an integrity commission –that would cover Federal politics and the Commonwealth Government. Do you agree or disagree that such a body is needed at this level?
