Aquaculture production (quantity in tonnes) - Lower Mekong Region - 1950-2017

This graph shows the quantity of products produced through aquaculture in Cambodia, Lao PDR, Myanmar, Thailand and Vietnam, divided by location of waters, over time. The data shows that a large increase in aquaculture production in both inland and marine waters occurred between the years 2000 and 2010, and the increase in production continues through to 2017, the year of the most recently captured data.

It is important to note that the data is produced by each country's government and so is limited by inaccuracies with reporting at that level. As such, production may be underreported, especially in earlier years.
