‘Per capita’ data tells a different story

Among Washington and Oregon counties, Yakima County in 2025 saw the highest number of ICE arrests relative to its population—185 arrests per 100,000 people.

Per capita data allows for comparison of arrest data across counties with different populations. It doesn't show actual numbers of arrests—rather it shows the rate of arrests per 100,000 people.
