Many adults in China believe in Jesus and other religious figures or concepts

The Mandarin word used here for "believe in" is "xiangxin," which does not always have a religious connotation. "Tianzhu" is the Chinese Catholic name for God. "Bodhisattva" is a Buddhist term for a person on the path to achieving enlightenment. "Immortals" refer to Taoist deities.
