Cops Out on Injury Claims Drops

The number of Philadelphia police officers listed as injured on duty more than doubled from September 2017 to September 2021. Christine Coulter, a police deputy commissioner, told Council on Monday that the number of “no duty” officers has since fallen to 564.

Counts were provided for early September of each year except for 2022, which was the total police reported to Council on Monday.
