Political party and views on climate change post-disaster

A 2023 Pew survey asked adults whose local community had experienced a severe weather disaster in the previous year if they thought climate change contributed a lot, a little or not at all.

Bars show 96% of Democrats or surveyed adults who lean Democratic believed climate change contributed a little or a lot to a recent severe weather disaster, compared to 67% of Republicans and those leaning Republican. The rest thought climate change had no impact at all.
