Less Ukrainians are returning permanently to their home country

The UNHCR's intention surveys and border monitoring interviews show that refugees crossing back to Ukraine in the past year are most likely to go for a short-stay. Just 7% were planning to permanently return to Ukraine, down from 1 in 5 in 2023.
