Growth in Measles Cases in Pa. Since Aug. 31

Statewide, there have been 196 new measles cases in Pennsylvania since Aug. 31, an increase of 39%. Chester County now has 65 reported cases, 15 more than at the beginning of the month.

Counties with reported measles cases but no increases from Aug. 31 to Sept. 14 are Lebanon (21 cases); Berks, Elk, and Perry (4 cases); Lycoming and Montgomery (3 cases); Bedford, Franklin, and Lehigh (2 cases); and Adams, Cumberland, Montour, Venango, and Westmoreland (1 case).
