A good part of Guanacastecans who, in the first round, supported a different party or didn’t vote at all decided to vote for Carlos Alvarado on April 1. In other words, the majority of PUSC, PLN and PIN voters (some probably abstained) decided to support PAC. The chart shows the number of additional voters that each party earned in the runoff.
