There's less homeless people in Fresno and Madera Counties in 2026 - but the way they count is different

2026 data has not been verified or approved by HUD. There was no PIT count in 2021 due to the pandemic, so data included is from the county's estimates. 'Unsheltered' homelessness means people not sleeping in transitional housing or a short-term shelter bed.
