Border apprehensions of single-adult migrants in California

Apprehensions of single adults along the California-Mexico border, at ports of entry and areas in between, steadily declined after then-President Joe Biden enacted restrictions on asylum in June 2024. The decline continued after President Donald Trump took office in January and enacted further limits.
