The monthly accrued leave hours and value of those leave hours for each State classification are as follows: Firefighter II: 58 hours ($2,405), Fire Apparatus Engineer: 58 hours ($2,650), Fire Captain, Range A: 63 hours ($3,310), and Battalion Chief: 65 hours ($3,765). The State lead/lag for value of all leave are as follows: Firefighter II: 20.3%, Fire Apparatus Engineer: 17.2.%, Fire Captain, Range A: 12.2%, and Battalion Chief: -3.0%.
