Lending rate (“weighted average advances”) and deposit rate (“weighted average deposits”) are available from Bank of Papua New Guinea 2007, Money and banking in Papua New Guinea, Melbourne University Press for 1976 to 2005 and from BPNG Quarterly Economic Bulletin (QEB) Table 6.1 from 1990 onwards. There are a few years in which the data does not match. We use BPNG (2007) up to 2005, and thereafter BPNG QEB.
