Nebraska won't lose its reputation for “false springs,” fall or spring snowstorms and quickly changing temperatures any time soon, say the authors of a September report to the Legislature on climate change. But they say signs of a warming state have been growing since 2000, a statement visible in a review by the North Platte Telegraph and Scottsbluff Star-Herald of data from three western Nebraska weather stations with records dating to the late 1800s.
