Most regional totals include estimates for at least one country. Africa's estimates exclude Djibouti, Eritrea and Somalia; American estimates exclude Cuba; Asian estimates exclude North Korea, Laos, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan; and the estimates for the Middle East don't include Syria and Yemen.
