This stacked bar chart shows the adjusted self-assessed level of preparedness among US adults for a large-scale disaster or emergency by disability status between 2006 and 2012. Those who reported being very prepared are represented in darker green, those who said they were somewhat prepared in lighter green, and those who admitted they were not prepared at all in dark blue. Respondents with disabilities were more likely to say they were not prepared at all and less likely to say they were very prepared than those without disabilities.
