In January, an average of 2.3 people were likely killed per Turkish event, while an average of 0.8 people were likely killed per Kurdish event. However, February saw peak numbers per Turkish events fall: the peak killed on any one day was on February 9th (5 civilians), whereas during January, the peak was 25 on any one day. Consequently, an average of 0.6 people were likely killed per Turkish event during February - the same average as likely killed per Kurdish event.
