Payments for rebuilding were slow

It took six months for insurers to get above 50% of total outstanding claims paid on commercial property; about one-third are still unpaid.

The Minnesota Department of Commerce, which assembled data from more than 500 insurers, did not collect data in January or February 2021. Figures do not include losses for uninsured businesses or individuals.
