Less Populated Counties Receive A Majority of Florida's Biosolids

Counties with a population density (the number of people living per square mile) of 200 or less may be considered rural.

Osceola County, by far the largest recipient of biosolids at 61,111 tons, was removed from this dataset since it is an outlier. Data is according to records from 2019 to 2021.
