Atlanta's office market trends south

Absorption is an industry term for the amount of office space occupied over a period of time and factors in new office space added to a market. Positive absorption of space indicates strong demand. Negative absorption indicates the opposite. Metro Atlanta has been negative throughout 2023, ending a period of recovery that lasted much of the past two years.
