Fashion chains put to the test: how many clicks does it take to find a Click & Collect offer?

To measure the quality of the Click & Collect service, the number of clicks required to reach the offer was recorded.

The study examined ten fashion chains with a total of 169 branches, as well as up to ten local retailers per city, across Germany’s 20 largest cities – a total of 306 shops. The survey was conducted using a standardised click path starting from the homepage. Only collection services that could be selected online at the checkout or on the product detail page were included in the analysis. Survey period: March 2026.
