Delaware County’s William Penn School District was identified as a “district on the rise” for significant improvement in academic scores compared with other districts in Pennsylvania with similar demographics. According to a study by the Education Scorecard, math scores at William Penn improved by 0.15 grade levels since 2019, the base year of its analysis, and by more than half a grade level since 2022.
