Results from Overdrive's 2021 compensation survey of leased and independent owner-operators show the percentage method of pay as by far the dominate one for those leased to motor carriers. Three in every four leased owners now operate under a percentage model for freight movement compensation. Percentage and miles packages represented here may include per-mile or lump-sum accessorials as part of the package.
