OSHA Agricultural Workplace Inspection Capabilities by State
22 states and territories run their own State Plan OSHA
offices. Of these, 12 states and Puerto Rico do not observe the "small farm" exemption, instead inspecting agricultural
facilities with 10 or fewer workers using state funds.
A visual map of the United States showing which states are able to inspect workplaces with fewer than 10 employees, and which are not. (Note: Puerto Rico, not show on this map, is able to inspect workplaces with fewer than 10 employees.)
