North Carolina monthly abortion volumes, April 2022 to June 2025

After an initial decline when increased abortion restrictions took effect, the number of abortions provided in the state has remained fairly steady. More than one-third of abortions are now provided to out-of-state patients, and a growing number of North Carolinians are obtaining an abortion by telehealth through shield law providers.
