Participation by Race and Ethnicity During the 2022 Midterms

Latinos in Oklahoma register and vote the least relative to their state population size. Only 44.3% of Latino voting age citizens registered to vote last year, and 52.8% of them cast a ballot. Among eligible Black Oklahomans, the group with the second-lowest participation rates, 45.9% registered and 59.5% of them voted. Among Asians, 47.2% registered and 67.6% of them voted.
