Source: These data are from the Community College Health Study (CCHS), which occurred from 2021 to 2024 and enrolled 18–19-year-old students from community college campuses across the US.
Notes: Participants reported whether they received school-based sexual health education since 9th grade and, if so, rated the extent to which it was relevant, engaging, inclusive, preparative, and empowering (scale: 1 = Not at all to 5 = Extremely). Analyses include those who completed this wave of data collection and reported receiving such education (sexual minority n = 185; gender minority n = 39).
